The aim of this web museum is to present in a clear, searchable and well-structured way the world of tax, fee and other financial value items used in Hungary. Alongside their collecting, historical and graphic characteristics, it also seeks to clarify the relationships between the printed issues, signets and document stamps.
The collection is continually growing: in addition to uploading images, descriptions and archival data, we also aim to add missing pieces and refine the available information. The website is not only a presentation of issued examples, but also a deeper understanding of the historical background and practical context of financial value items.
The web museum is continuously developed with the help of collectors, dealers and Darabanth Kft. We thank everyone who contributes images, data and knowledge to the enrichment of the collection.
